Odisha witnessed one of India's deadliest train crashes on Friday evening, when the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express and the Coromandel Express and a goods train collided.
A goods train plying on a privately-run rail track derailed in the Bargarh area of Western Odisha, media reports said on Monday.
The train, operated by a private cement factory, was carrying limestone when it derailed inside the factory premises near Mendhapali in the Bargarh district, some 500 km away from the recent crash site.
The derailment of the goods train came three days after India's deadliest rail crash in more than two decades, which killed more than 275 people in Odisha's Balasore.
The East Coast Railway said that “there is no role of Railways in this matter”.

“This is completely a narrow gauge siding of a private cement company. All the infrastructure including rolling stock, engine, wagons, train tracks (narrow gauge) are being maintained by the company”, East Coast Railway said.

No casualties were reported, and only a few coaches reportedly derailed.
Meanwhile, a major train accident was averted in Tamil Nadu after alert railway officials detected cracks in the chassis of the Kollam-Chennai Express.
The officials immediately detached the affected coach from the train. According to media reports, quoting Southern Railway officials, the cracks were discovered on Sunday evening at around 3.36 pm (IST) during a rolling stock examination at the Sengottai Railway Station.
