Police in Uttar Pradesh’s capital city Lucknow have appealed for people and shopowners to install cameras in their homes and businesses to curb crime, officials said on Monday.The appeal from the Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) has come as part of the ‘Har Ghar Camera’ (cameras at every home) campaign.The police officials further added that business leaders and prominent citizens from every ward will be engaged in the scheme to motivate more people to participate, with awards being on offer.
