The comments were extended on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which will be held on June 14-17. On 16 June, Vladimir Putin will address the participants.
Russia cannot be isolated in spite of all efforts, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in an excluive conversation with Sputnik on the sidelines of the SPIEF 2023.
“According to the organizers, delegates from 130 countries and territories are participating in the forum. Given this fact, can we really claim that Russia is isolated, something which the West endlessly chatters on about?,” she questioned.

"A country, [its] people and the nation that honors its history and passes it on to the future generations cannot be isolated. There will be attempts to isolate [Russia], but the isolation itself will not happen. This has already been proven," Maria Zakharova added.

Any Decisions of ICC on Kakhovka HPP to Be Legally Null and Void for Russia

Any decisions of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in connection with the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant (HPP) will be legally null and void for Moscow, Maria Zakharova told Sputnik.
Last week, the aide of Ukraine’s prosecutor general, Maksym Popov, said that Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin had sent an appeal to the ICC in The Hague in connection with the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP.

"The ICC, in principle, does not have any competence to order any interstate payments, which the Kiev regime immediately began to talk about, since, in fact, it does not consider disputes between states. And in any case, Russia and many other countries do not participate in the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and bear no obligations under it, as we have repeatedly said. We do not cooperate with this body, any decisions for us will be legally null and void," the diplomat said.

Moscow on Delivery of Uranium Shells to Kiev: Washington Believes This Will Not Affect Them

Washington believed that the delivery of depleted uranium shells to Ukraine will nit affect the United States, Maria Zakharova told Sputnik on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing US officials, that the administration of US President Joe Biden is going to approve the provision of depleted uranium tank munitions to Ukraine.

"For the United States of America, this is probably not a problem at all. They apparently do not see this as a problem, because they believe that, since they are on another continent, the supply of radioactive substances that will be used in hostilities will not affect them," Zakharova said.

Depleted uranium will harm everything, including the environment, the diplomat underscored.
