On Thursday, all five passengers who were aboard the OceanGate submersible to see the sunken Titanic at a depth of nearly 13,000 feet, were declared dead after the discovery of the debris 600 feet from the Titanic's bow in the North Atlantic Ocean.
Condolences and tributes are pouring in for the five passengers who tragically lost their life because of the implosion of their submersible while trying to explore the sunken Titanic ruins in the North Atlantic.
The five passengers on board the Titanic submersible were 58-year-old British businessman and explorer, Hamish Harding; Pakistani-native British businessman Shahzada Dawood, 48, and his son, Suleman Dawood, 19; a 77-year-old French explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet; and the OceanGate chief executive and pilot, Stockton Rush.
The family of the deceased Pakistan billionaire Shahzada Dawood issued a statement expressing their sorrow.
"It is with profound grief that we announce the passing of Shahzada and Suleman Dawood. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the other passengers on the Titan submersible," the statement reads.

The OceanGate Expeditions, who operated the vessel that took the tourists to view the wreckage of the Titanic, also paid tribute to those on board.

“We now believe that our chief executive Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, Hamish Harding, and Paul-Henri Nargeolet, have sadly been lost,” OceanGate said in a statement.

"Our hearts are with these five souls and every member of their families during this tragic time. We grieve the loss of life and joy they brought to everyone they knew,” the statement added.
President of the Explorers Club, President Richard Garriott de Cayeux, sent his condolences to the families on their loss and said, "Their memories will be a blessing and will continue to inspire us in the name of science and exploration.”

'Titanic' movie director James Cameron paid tribute to 77-year-old French explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet and said, "The legendary submersible dive pilot, he is a friend of mine. It is a very small community. I’ve known him for 25 years. For him to have died tragically in this way is almost impossible for me to process."

Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, James Cleverly, also offered condolences and said, "Tragic news that those on the Titan submersible, including three British citizens, have been lost after an international search operation. The UK government is closely supporting the families affected and expresses our deepest condolences."

Missing of Titanic Submersible

The submersible, equipped with only 96 hours of oxygen, began its descent on Sunday but lost contact with the surface less than two hours later.
These trips last several days and cost $250,000 (INR 20.52 million) per person.
A full-scale rescue mission was launched to recover the missing sub and crew after it disappeared 400 miles south-east of Newfoundland, Canada.
On the fourth day of the search operation, a remote-controlled vehicle was sent deep in the North Atlantic, and within hours of being deployed to the ocean floor, a vehicle located a “debris field”.

"The debris is consistent with the catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber," said Rear Admiral John Mauger, the US commander of the First Coast Guard District, on Thursday.
