The first day of the NATO summit has proved western allies do not share the same perspective for Ukraine, and the country is unlikely to enter the North Atlantic alliance anytime soon.In the communique published following the first day of summit in Vilnius, NATO allies agreed that "Ukraine's future is in NATO," and the country would be exempt from fulfilling a standard Membership Action Plan for that.
