Ukraine Using Wounded Soldiers as Organ Donors, Russian Security Chief Says
Last January, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had signed a law to “regulate” organ transplantation, his press service said at the time.
The Kiev regime has been using wounded Ukrainian soldiers for organ transplantations, Russia’s top security official Nikolai Patrushev said on Monday.
Patrushev, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council emphasized that organs were being illicitly removed from
Ukrainian soldiers wounded on the battlefield in the ongoing
special military operation.
“Apparently, it is no coincidence that last year Zelensky signed a decree providing for the transplantation of human organs without consent," Patrushev noted.
Among its key provisions, the Ukrainian law mandates that the donor-recipient pair would be selected by the ‘Unified State Transplant System’, which is overlooked by the health ministry.
Western Nations ‘Main Beneficiaries’ of Illicit Organ Trade: Russian MFA
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman
Maria Zakharova said last month that
western countries were the “main beneficiaries” of the illicit organ trade in Ukraine.
Speaking on the margins of St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Zakharova said that Ukraine was ready to “pay anything” in return for the military assistance it was receiving from the western countries.
She said that the Kiev regime was fast turning Ukraine into a “global hub of human organ trafficking”.
