Biden Took Bribe From Ukrainian Firm to Support Kiev: Vivek Ramaswamy
US presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has been severely critical of incumbent Joe Biden for his support of Ukraine's military effort against Russia.
Longshot Republican hopeful in the 2024 polls, Vivek Ramaswamy launched a no-holds-barred attack on US President Joe Biden, accusing the American head of state of receiving millions of dollars in bribes from a Ukrainian state firm in exchange for his administration's support to Kiev.
"A Ukrainian state-affiliated company's multi-million-dollar bribe to the Biden family is a likely reason why President Biden is now
otherwise inexplicably showering Ukraine with hundreds of billions of US taxpayer dollars," he wrote on X, previously known as Twitter.
"U.S.
taxpayers are footing the bill for a personal bribe, and even worse our nation is marching closer to major conflict with a nuclear superpower as a consequence," he added.
Why Is Ramaswamy Furious With the US Stance Over Ukraine?
Ramaswamy is one of the fiercest critics Biden on the issue of Ukraine.
Last week, the Indian-origin presidential aspirant labeled Biden's continued backing of Ukraine a "geopolitical disaster".
Ramaswamy's latest dig at Biden comes days after the US President formally asked Congress to approve $13 billion in
additional military assistance to Kiev.
Since Russia's special military operation began last February, America's overall aid to Ukraine has surpassed a staggering $113 billion mark.
Critics Say White House Executing 'Proxy War' Against Kremlin
Critics, including military pundits from India, have blamed the West for launching a proxy war against Russia.
Last month, a former Indian military veteran, Major General Prabdeep Singh Behl (Retd) told Sputnik India that Washington would continue to supply tonnes of defense equipment to Ukraine because NATO's credibility, in other words, America's credibility was at stake.
"If they put a stop to this, what is going to happen is their military-industrial complex will shutter down, and the credibility of NATO is going to go down. In the US, President Joe Biden has to face elections in 2024, so he's going to get into trouble, and when you combine all these factors, you realize why the West and the US are continuing to support Kiev's military campaign," Behl remarked.
