Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Moscow remains supporter of multipolar world order based on the priority of the norms and principles of international law.
"We were and remain firm supporters of a multipolar world order based on the priority of the norms and principles of international law, the sovereignty and equality of states, constructive cooperation and trust," Putin said at the 11th Moscow Conference on International Security.
He added, that the United States seeks to reformat the system of interstate cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region so that it suits Washington's interests, likewise, Washington aims to Integrate NATO forces with AUKUS bloc.
"The United States seeks, among other things, to reformat the system of interstate cooperation that has developed in the Asia-Pacific region so that it suits itself [the US]. The promotion of the so-called Indo-Pacific strategies, in fact, is aimed at creating military-political associations controlled by Washington," Putin said.
the Russian leader also noted that Western nations were planning to integrate NATO forces with the AUKUS security pact between Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.
"We do not rule out that the matter is heading towards full integration of NATO forces with the AUKUS bloc structures that are being created," Putin said at the 11th Moscow Conference on International Security.
Russian Ministry of Defenсe is holding the 11th Moscow Conference on International Security. The conference was found in 2012. It has become a pivotal platform for open discussion of the most pressing global and regional security issues.
This year, the conference will discuss problems of global and regional stability, as well as various aspects of security in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Europe.
