Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Greece on Friday at the invitation of Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) team involved in the milestone Chandrayaan-3 mission on Friday after returning from Greece.
He will be meeting the scientists at ISRO's headquarters in Bengaluru.
The Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission successfully touched down on the South Pole of the Moon on Wednesday evening after a 40-day journey into space.
Thanks to this breakthrough, India has become the first country to touch down on the South Pole of the lunar surface and the fourth country to land on the Moon after the US, Russia and China.

The live telecast of the momentous event was witnessed by Modi who was in Johannesburg, South Africa attending the 15th BRICS Summit.
After Chandrayaan-3's historic landing, Modi congratulated the ISRO team on the mission's success in his virtual address.
The ISRO announced on Thursday that the Pragyan Rover embarked on a moonwalk on the lunar surface. The rover had slid down a ramp from the lander within hours of the epic landing.
Chandrayaan-3 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota on July 14.
