Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar has said that the bribery scandal that spread to Ukraine's military registration and enlistment offices is not a reason to be dismissed from service.
“At meetings they ask me the question: “Why should I defend my homeland when bribes are taken during the military registration and enlistment office? I will die, and he is going to take bribe? "The bribe taker must be punished and it is not discussed. But love for the motherland has nothing to do with it," Malyar said on a Ukrainian TV channel.
People's discontent with forced mobilization in Ukraine is growing every day. The outrage has become so widespread that the deputy defense minister of Ukraine had to make a statement about it. She blamed Russia for the discontent.
According to Malyar, it was allegedly the representative of Russia who raised the question "why serve a country in which corrupt military officers work."
At the same time, the deputy minister did not indicate that the indignation was not caused by the opportunity to pay and thus not participate in the battles. Rather, this is due to the fact that representatives of military registration and enlistment offices illegally consider everyone fit for service, including epileptics.
On February 24, 2022, Kiev's regime imposed a martial law. Then the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a decree on general mobilization. Men aged 18 to 60 are prohibited from leaving Ukraine for the period of military law.
