Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to hold 15 bilateral meetings on the sidelines of G-20 Leaders’ Summit being held at New Delhi on September 9-10, media reports quoting sources said on Saturday.The leaders, with whom Modi is likely to hold bilateral talks, include US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron.The sources further stated Modi will hold bilateral meetings with Biden, and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday at his residence while he will also hold a meeting with Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Jugnauth.Later on Saturday, Modi will be hold one-on-one meetings with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.On Sunday, the Prime Minister will meet Macron over lunch and do a pull-aside meeting with Canada's Justin Trudeau.Modi will also meet top leaders of Comoros, Turkiye, UAE, South Korea, EU/EC, Brazil and Nigeria.Notably, apart from leaders of G-20 countries top leaders of Bangladesh, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Egypt, Mauritius, Oman, Singapore, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates as well as administrators from international organisations such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank have also been invited by India to participate in the summit.
