Russian Forces Thwart Attempt by Ukrainians To Infiltrate Crimea: Defense Ministry

Russian Aerospace Forces have been diligently protecting Crimean airspace from yet another infiltration attempt by Ukrainian special forces.
Russian military aircraft thwarted an attempt by the Ukrainian armed forces to infiltrate Crimea near Cape Tarkhankut using a speedboat and three jet skis overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"On the night of October 4, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks against facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation were foiled," the ministry said in a statement.
In the northwestern part of the Black Sea, Russian Aerospace Forces' aircraft foiled an attempt by a landing group of the Ukrainian armed forces to infiltrate Crimea while moving in the direction of Cape Tarkhankut in a military speedboat and three jet skis, according to the statement.
