End Bilateral Ties With Israel: Congress Politician To PM Modi

Former Maharashtra Minister Naseem Khan in his letter demanded a strict action against Israel after 500 people died resulting in a bombing at al-Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza on Tuesday.
Congress politician Naseem Khan wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to suspend bilateral ties with Israel.
Khan demanded that India should stop all its bilateral trade with Israel, including economic.
"This would be in accordance with the sentiments of crores (one crore is equal to 10 million) of peace loving people of India," Khan wrote.
He said that the United Nations itself is concerned over the shortage of food, medicines, and relief material in the Gaza Strip.
"India needs to help them at this time of crisis considering our historic relationship," he added.
He also appealed to the Prime Minister to support and help suffering wounded kids, women and innocent people of Gaza on "humanitarian grounds."
"As you are aware of the ongoing war between Israel and Gaza (Palestine). Sir, the Indian government should immediately condemn the inhuman bombarding on Gaza (Palestine) which is killing thousands of innocent people and making them homeless," Khan wrote in his letter.

He also said that most of the Prime Minister of India "had a very good relationship with the government of Palestine and we have always stood with them in the hours of need on humanitarian ground."

Many Indian Muslims organization has voiced for Palestinians and condemn Israel in the ongoing conflict.
An al-Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza was bombed on Tuesday evening, killing 500 people. The Palestinian authorities blamed the Israel Armed Forces for the attack, while the IDF insisted that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement carried out the attack.

The attack on the hospital was condemned by many global leaders, including UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who reminded that medical facilities are protected by humanitarian law and cannot be targeted.

Meanwhile, outrage sparked among the Middle Eastern countries, whose citizens stormed Israel embassies or rallied against Tel-Aviv and Washington's foreign policy.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian health ministry on Wednesday said that at least 3,478 Palestinians were killed and 12,000 wounded in Gaza in Israeli strikes since October 7. And 1,400 Israelis were killed.
