Pakistan has mandated all Chinese experts and investors related to the multi-billion dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to use bullet-proof vehicles during their movement in the country.The development came as the Government of Pakistan revised the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the security of the Chinese experts working on the CPEC projects.The Pakistani authorities directed chief secretaries to beef up security of the Chinese residents, especially in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab provinces, media reported.It is now required that the Chinese investors, staying at rented accommodations or hotels, will have to register themselves at the related police station. They will have to also submit their rental agreement for the purpose of boosting security arrangements for them.

Pakistan has mandated all Chinese experts and investors related to the multi-billion dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to use bullet-proof vehicles during their movement in the country.
