"Today (Sunday), COGAT coordinated the entry of 200 trucks into the Gaza Strip, 42 of which were loaded with shelter equipment. This was with the approval of the government of Israel, in accordance with agreement with the United States, and in coordination with Egypt and the United Nations," the IDF said on Telegram.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday that the Israeli Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) organized the entry of 200 trucks carrying humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
In total, 226 trucks with shelter equipment entered Gaza, delivering "some 3,600 tonnes of tents, blankets and mattresses," the IDF said, adding that since 7 October, over 2,000 trucks carrying humanitarian aid had entered the enclave.
On the same day, the Palestine Red Crescent Society said that it had delivered 100 truckloads of aid to the Gaza Strip on Sunday.

Humanitarian Truce in Gaza Close to Being Extended for Another 2 Days: Egyptian Official
The humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip is close to being extended for another two days, Diaa Rashwan, the head of Egypt's State Information Service, said on Monday.
"Chairman of State Information Service (SIS) Diaa Rashwan announced that the efforts of Egypt and Qatar are close to extending the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip for another two days," the statement said.
During the additional two days about 20 Israeli hostages could be exchanged for 60 Palestinian prisoners from Israel, the official said, adding that 11 Israeli hostages are expected to be released from the Gaza Strip on Monday.
The negotiations are underway for the release of 33 Palestinians, Rashwan said.

Russia considers Israeli attacks targeting the Damascus airport in Syria a violation of international law and demands to end actions that endanger lives of civilians, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Monday.
Israeli airstrikes hit the airport on Sunday, forcing the facility to go out of service.
“We regard the ongoing attacks on the territory of Syria as a gross violation of the sovereignty of this country and the basic norms of international law. Israel, Elon Musk Agree on Starlink Operation in Gaza: Communications Minister
Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi announced on Monday that he had reached a preliminary agreement with US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk to deploy Starlink satellite communication services in the Gaza Strip.
In late October, Musk said that his company SpaceX, which operates Starlink, would support communications with internationally recognized aid groups in Gaza amid a telephone and internet blackout in the enclave.
"As a result of this significant agreement, Starlink satellite units can only be operated in Israel with the approval of the Israeli Ministry of Communications, including the Gaza Strip," the minister wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He also welcomed Musk's visit to Israel and expressed hope that the billionaire would strengthen his "relationship with the Jewish people and [their] values."

Truce in Gaza to Be Extended for 1 Day for Release of Every 10 New Hostages: Hamas
The truce in the Gaza Srtip will be extended for one day for release of every 10 new hostages, Hamas spokesman in Lebanon Osama Hamdan told the LBCI broadcaster reported on Monday.
"If Hamas or Al Qassam Brigades [the military wing of Hamas] find other detainees, the truce will be extended by a day for every 10 of them [hostages]," Hamdan said.
The extension of the truce will depend on the number of hostages to be released, the spokesman said.

Moscow approves of Hamas leaders’ goodwill gesture regarding the release of a Russian citizen who had been held hostage in the Gaza Strip, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Monday.
A Russian citizen was released by Hamas on November 26 and handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) outside the Qatar-brokered deal between the movement and Israel, Zakharova said in a statement.
"We approve of the Hamas movement’s leaders’ goodwill gesture and their readiness for result-based cooperation towards finding solutions to humanitarian problems which are significantly important for us. Israel confirmed that it had received overnight a list of hostages who are set to be released by Hamas on Monday, the i24 broadcaster reported.
Last week, Qatar mediated a deal between Israel and Hamas on a four-day truce and the exchange of some of the prisoners and hostages, as well as the delivery of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. The first group of Israeli and foreign hostages were released from the enclave on Friday.
