Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Gohar Ali Khan has visited the founding chief of the party Imran Khan in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail.Gohar reportedly said that the PTI would finalise tickets in the next few days. He also praised the Islamabad High Court for allowing him to meet Khan, the 71-year-old leader who has been in jail since August last year and is facing trial in a number of cases.Further detailing his discussion with the PTI chief, Gohar noted that it had been decided that individuals who had publicly criticised the party would not be considered for tickets, the reports said.He also reiterated that the PTI would not boycott the elections and urged other political parties to participate in the electoral process.

As Pakistan's general elections draw nearer, political parties are busy finalising their lists of candidates who could be given tickets to contest the polls scheduled to be held on 8 February.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Gohar Ali Khan has visited the founding chief of the party Imran Khan in Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail.
“A preliminary consultation was held with the PTI founding chairman on the distribution of tickets," Gohar was quoted as saying after meeting Khan in the jail by the reports.
Gohar reportedly said that the PTI would finalise tickets in the next few days. He also praised the Islamabad High Court for allowing him to meet Khan, the 71-year-old leader who has been in jail since August last year and is facing trial in a number of cases.
Further detailing his discussion with the PTI chief, Gohar noted that it had been decided that individuals who had publicly criticised the party would not be considered for tickets, the reports said.
