India's External Affairs Minister (EAM), S. Jaishankar, pointed out that India conducts the same number of cashless transactions in a single month that the United States does within a three-year period.India's top diplomat commented on the growth and development of the South Asian giant over the past decade when speaking to the Indian community in Nigeria on Sunday.Jaishankar spotlighted the remarkable transformation of India over the past decade. He emphasised the ongoing growth of the Indian economy, the inflow of investments, and India's response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, he pointed to the overall improvement of India’s quality of life."Today, what is happening in the economy, we are the fastest-growing big economy in the world, but it is much more than that. Today, if you see the economic activity in India, wherever you go, something is being built. A metro is being built, a road is being built, new airports are coming up, new trains are coming up, railway stations are coming up. If you go to your village, piped water is coming up, there is an electricity connection coming," he added.The minister, who had just arrived in Nigeria after attending the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit in Uganda, interacted with the Indian community and showcased the remarkable progress India has made in various fields under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

S. Jaishankar has marveled at India's ability to capture the world's imagination, while also taking pride in the country's growth and overall progress over the past decade.
India's External Affairs Minister (EAM), S. Jaishankar, pointed out that India conducts the same number of cashless transactions in a single month that the United States does within a three-year period.
India's top diplomat commented on the growth and development of the South Asian giant over the past decade when speaking to the
Indian community in Nigeria on Sunday.
"The life of every Indian citizen has become easier, and this is because we have embraced technology in a very deep way. You can see this in payment, very few people today pay in cash and very few people accept cash. Today, we do as many cashless payments in India in a month as much as America does in three years," Jaishankar said in a post on X.
Jaishankar spotlighted the remarkable transformation of India over the past decade. He emphasised the ongoing growth of the Indian economy, the inflow of investments, and India's response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, he pointed to the overall improvement of India’s quality of life.

These are five true examples of what changed in India in the last decade," the top diplomat explained.
