Bihar state chief Nitish Kumar re-took his oath on Sunday after forming a new government in the state to rule alongside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), media reported on Sunday.He had previously resigned from his post, bringing an end to the alliance between his Janata Dal (United) party, the Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) and left parties.Kumar replaced the ministers from RJD with those from the BJP and party leaders Samrat Chowdhury, Vijay Sinha, and several others who also took oath along with him at the Raj Bhavan in Bihar.The move comes just months before the Lok Sabha elections.In response, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to congratulate Kumar for forming a new government, claiming that NDA members will leave no stone unturned for the development of the state and to fulfill the aspirations of its people.

Bihar state chief Nitish Kumar re-took his oath on Sunday after forming a new government in the state to rule alongside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), media reported on Sunday.
He had previously resigned from his post, bringing an end to the alliance between his Janata Dal (United) party, the Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) and left parties.
Kumar replaced the ministers from RJD with those from the BJP and party leaders Samrat Chowdhury, Vijay Sinha, and several others who also took oath along with him at the Raj Bhavan in Bihar.
In response, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to congratulate Kumar for forming a new government, claiming that NDA members will leave no stone unturned for the development of the state and to fulfill the aspirations of its people.
"I congratulate Nitish Kumar ji as Chief Minister and Samrat Chaudhary ji and Vijay Sinha ji on taking oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. I am confident that this team will serve my family members of the state with full dedication," Modi posted on X.
