The Indian cricket legend is currently on his first-ever trip to Kashmir. He posted a video on his X account on February 20 sharing the mesmerizing view of the valley.
Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar has set social media on fire as he shared a video of him playing cricket with locals in Kashmir on Thursday.
The video has so far garnered more than 470,000 views and 3,000 retweets.
In the video captioned “Cricket & Kashmir: A MATCH in HEAVEN", Tendulkar can be seen testing a Kashmir willow bat with locals and a few army personnel.
He even challenged the bowler to get him on the last, despite holding his bat upside down.
Fans have gone gaga over the video, with one social media user sharing it and writing in Hindi “God of cricket in heaven on earth” while another wrote, “God of Cricket promoted Cricket in Heaven like no one else”.
Admiring legendary batter Tendulkar, another fan wrote: “He is middling the ball so perfectly with bat’s handle after years of retirement from cricket. God of cricket.”
Meanwhile, several social media users have hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government for the tourism-friendly environment in the valley.
“Those who promote agenda ask what has changed in Kashmir after abrogation of Article 370? This video is for them. The picture of Kashmir has changed… Sachin Tendulkar playing cricket on streets of Kashmir,” said a social media user in Hindi.

Meanwhile, another wrote in Hindi: “Before abrogation of Article 370 terrorists used to create ruckus every day in Jammu and Kashmir. Now, under the good governance of Prime Minister Modi, Sachin Tendulkar is batting fearlessly.”
