Elon Musk's brain chip company Neuralink successfully enabled its first paralysed patient to restore control over computers and play games solely through 'Telepathy' technology.
The internet went into a frenzy as Elon Musk announced Neuralink's new groundbreaking technology 'Blindsight' set to revolutionize vision restoration for completely blind individuals.
Musk took to social media to announced that the Blindsight system has already proven to be successful in monkeys; although the resolution will be low at first, like early Nintendo graphics, it has the potential to exceed human visual capabilities in the future.
Netizens flooded social media with reactions and praising how technology can enable humans to regain lost abilities.
Many marveled at the potential of the Blindsight system, envisioning a future where the limitations of blindness could be overcome through advanced technology.
The news sparked discussions about the ethical implications, with some questioning the technology enhancing human capabilities.
"The rate of innovation is simply astounding," one user wrote.
"Didn't see that coming this quickly. Can your present patient help, or is this a different chip/wire locations," replied another.
"Monkey get to see in Nintendo vision! That’s so epic," replied the third.
