In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the incumbent NDA won a total of 293 seats, with the BJP emerging as the largest party holding 240 seats. In contrast, the opposition bloc, I.N.D.I.A, secured victory in 232 seats.
Narendra Modi will be taking oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive time on Sunday, according to NDTV, after he was elected as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Modi will be the first and only three-term Prime Minister of India after Congress’ Jawaharlal Nehru.
All BJP parliamentarians have been summoned to Delhi, where it is expected that Modi will officially request to form the government today, as reported by the media.
Additionally, reports suggest that leaders from neighboring countries such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Nepal have been invited to attend the upcoming oath ceremony.

The NDA led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a victory in the recently concluded Lok Sahba elections, winning 293 seats out of 543 thus crossing the majority benchmark of 272.
The members of the alliance unanimously selected Modi as their leader during a meeting held at his residence on Wednesday evening. They had gathered to review the election results and discuss the formation of the government.
The alliance also commended Modi for his leadership, hard work, and efforts. Politicians praised his vision for ‘Viksit Bharat’ (developed India) and confirmed their commitment to working together as partners to achieve this goal.
The NDA delegation included Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu as well as Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar who have extended their support to ensure that the alliance led by BJP forms the government.
