In the area of special military operations the Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out precision air strikes against Ukrainian military equipment and infrastructure that pose a threat to the country's security.
The Russian Defense Ministry has released a video showing Russian troops attacking the S-300 long-range surface-to-air missile system located in the Poltava region.
"The Iskander-M tactical missile complex attacked the location of the Ukrainian S-300PS air defense system located in the Koptevo area near Poltava," the ministry reported.
The attack by the Iskander-M system destroyed two S-300 launchers, a combat control room, a vehicle transport and military personnel of Ukraine's anti-aircraft missile units.
Offering a high degree of flexibility, the Iskander-M system is capable of targeting both static and dynamic objectives, including fortified positions and infrastructure. Equipped with precision-guided munitions, it effectively minimizes collateral damage while optimizing impact on the battlefield.
