Russia's top arms exporter Rosoboronexport offers a full range of cooperation, including technology transfer, establishing a joint venture in India for the production of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and setting up of maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities associated with it.

"We consider the joint development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as one of the promising areas of Russian-Indian technological partnership," Rosoboronexport told Sputnik India in an exclusive interview.

A key competitive advantage of Russian UAVs offered for export is that their technical development is based on real combat experience in high-intensity conflicts, including operations in environments with modern air defenсe countermeasures, the company noted.

It is also worth noting the high level of openness from the Russian side in terms of technological cooperation in the UAV sector, it added.

"We are ready to offer Indian partners various forms of collaboration, including UAV development, localisation of UAV production, technology transfers, as well as the establishment of joint ventures and service centers, including regional facilities," the arms exporter concluded.
