Pakistan did not consult with Afghanistan regarding terrorist Mohammad Sharifullah's extradition to the United States, Pakistani Minister of State for Law and Justice Aqeel Malik told Sputnik.
On Wednesday, the White House said that an Islamic State (IS*) terrorist group member arrested by the US for his role in killing American servicemen in the Kabul airport in 2021.

"Sharifullah was arrested on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border and eventually extradited to the US. We had no need to consult with Afghanistan," Malik said, adding that the terrorist was captured in the border area.
