MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Pakistan's army has accused India of attacking and damaging the Neelum-Jhelum hydroelectric power plant in Kashmir, the Samaa broadcaster reported on Wednesday, citing Pakistani Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
On Tuesday, the Indian Defence Ministry announced the launch of Operation Sindoor, which involved strikes on "terrorist infrastructure" in Pakistan in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The ministry said that no Pakistani military facilities were attacked during the operation. In turn, the Pakistani government said that India targeted five settlements in Pakistan, killing at least 26 people and injuring 46 others.
