A routine training flight ended in tragedy when a Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI aircraft crashed into Milestone School and College in Uttara shortly after take-off around 1:06 PM (IST), according to military and local officials. Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the incident and said, "The losses suffered by the Air Force and the students, parents, teachers and staff at Milestone School and College are irreplaceable. This is a moment of deep sorrow for the nation".Footage of the aftermath of the crash shows scenes of panic as the plane struck the campus, sending smoke and flames billowing into the sky.
