Russia-Ukraine Meeting at Highest Level Should Put End to Settlement: Kremlin
A meeting between Russia and Ukraine at the highest level should put an end to the settlement and record the results of work at the expert level, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
"A summit meeting can and should put a final point in the settlement and record the modalities and agreements that are to be developed in the course of expert work. It is impossible to do the opposite," Peksov told reporters.
Commenting on the possibility of holding a meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian leaders before the end of August, the official said that it is unlikely that such complex preliminary work can be done in 30 days.
