Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has warned that the emerging trade agreements between the United States and the European Union will lead to the further deindustrialization of Europe, as investment and energy dependencies shift across the Atlantic.
“It is clear that this approach will lead to further deindustrialization of Europe, a flow of investments from Europe to the United States. This will deal a strong blow — primarily due to energy prices and the outflow of investment — to European industry and agriculture,” Lavrov said.
