Russia's Far East Has 900-year Coal Supply: Putin at Eastern Economic Forum
18:44 04.09.2025 (Updated: 18:53 04.09.2025) Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized on Thursday the importance of ensuring the economic growth of Russia's Far East.
“Our task is to provide the region's economic development with the necessary resources,” Putin said during a meeting on the development of the fuel and energy complex in the Far East at the Eastern Economic Forum.
The 10th edition of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) is taking place in Russia's Vladivostok from September 3-6. Sputnik is the general media partner of the forum.
