US President Donald Trump said that while he enjoys a strong rapport with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he is very disappointed by India’s significant oil purchases from Russia.
"I get along very well with Modi. As you know, he's great," Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday.
"I've been very disappointed that India would be buying so much oil, as you know, from Russia, and I let them know that we put a very big tariff on India, 50% tariff, very high tariff," the US President said.
