In exchange, 185 Ukrainian prisoners of war have been handed over. Additionally, 20 civilians have been returned. Currently, the returned Russian soldiers and civilians are located in the Republic of Belarus, where they are receiving necessary psychological and medical assistance. 17:40 02.10.2025 (Updated: 20:31 02.10.2025) In accordance with the Russia-Ukraine agreements reached on July 23 in Istanbul, 185 Russian military personnel have been returned from areas controlled by the Kiev regime, Russian MoD stated.
In exchange, 185 Ukrainian prisoners of war have been handed over.
Additionally, 20 civilians have been returned.
