Ukrainian defences could collapse within the next year due to declining morale among troops, British volunteer Aiden Minnis, who is fighting on the Russian side, told Sputnik.
Aiden Minnis told that morale within the Ukrainian Army is at “an all-time low.”
Many Ukrainian soldiers are reportedly surrendering in large numbers, unable to withstand sustained Russian firepower across several front-line sectors, he added.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the “strategic initiative” in the special military operation zone remains firmly with the Russian Armed Forces.
