Trump’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, echoed Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov’s earlier remarks, noting that substantial technical discussions must take place between lower-level teams before any agreement can be reached between the leaders. US President Donald Trump said that discussions between Russia and Ukraine over the ongoing conflict have made significant progress.
"I think we've made a lot of progress," Trump said, referring to diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the conflict.
