NEW DELHI (Sputnik) - A Russian educational agency, established by Synergy Corporation and Innopraktika.India, officially opened its doors in New Delhi on Thursday.
Synergy President Vadim Lobov and Innopraktika.India Hub Director Debjit Chakraborty signed a joint operations agreement during the ceremony. Attendees included Innopraktika First Deputy CEO Natalia Popova.
The initiative supports President Vladimir Putin's directive to increase foreign students in Russia to 500,000 by 2030. It promotes Russian education abroad and strengthens cultural, educational and business connections between the nations.
The opening aligns with Putin's official visit to India December 4-5, where officials expect to sign multiple sector agreements to deepen bilateral cooperation.
