India’s Exports Hit a Decade High, Marking a Major Trade Milestone: Commerce Ministry

India's merchandise exports surged to a record high in 10 years, with their value touching $38.13 billion in November 2025 as compared to $31.94 billion in the same month the previous year, data released by the country's Ministry of Commerce said on Monday.

The cumulative value of merchandise exports from April-November 2025 stood at $292.07 billion, registering $2.62% growth over the $284.60 billion during the same period last month.
Major drivers behind the growth of India's merchandise exports this year have been electronic goods, gems & jewellery, petroleum products, drugs & pharmaceuticals and engineering goods, the ministry added.
India's total exports, including both the services and merchandise sectors, were estimated to be worth $73.99 billion in November, with an upward trend of 15.52% compared to November 2024.
Services alone accounted for $35.86 billon worth of exports vis-à-vis $32.11 billion in the same month in 2024.
During April-November 2025, India's service exports witnessed a significant growth, clocking $270.06 billion in revenue, registering a $21.5 billion jump from the $248.56 billion recorded in April-November 2024.
