Russian air defence alert systems shot down 25 Ukrainian drones over six Russian regions last night, the Russian Defence Ministry said.

"Over the past night, air defenсe alert systems destroyed 25 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles: 12 over the Samara Region, three UAVs each over the Belgorod, Kursk, and Saratov regions, and two each over the Volgograd and Rostov regions," the statement said.

On Saturday evening, Russian air defence systems destroyed 43 Ukrainian drones over Russia between 8:00 p.m. (17:00 GMT) and 11:00 p.m. Moscow time (20:00 GMT).
