Russia's Soyuz Rocket Launched From Vostochny Cosmodrome Puts 52 Satellites Into Orbit
20:09 28.12.2025 (Updated: 20:10 28.12.2025) The Soyuz-2.1b rocket, launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome, placed the Fregat upper stage into orbit carrying the Aist-2T No. 1 and No. 2 Earth stereo imaging satellites and 50 other satellites, the broadcast of Russian state corporation Roscosmos showed on Sunday.
The rocket lifted off at 16:18Moscow time (13:18 GMT). Fregat will ignite its propulsion system almost immediately after separation.
