Iran, US Reach ‘Common Understanding’ on Resolving Most of Issues: Foreign Minister
Iran and the United States have reached a "common understanding" on resolving most of the issues at the nuclear talks in Geneva, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.
"We were able to identify the main elements of a possible deal, we discussed them. There are still some disagreements, but in most cases, there is at least a common understanding on how to resolve the issues," Araghchi told Press TV on Thursday.
He noted that the parties held intensive and detailed negotiations, during which progress was achieved. The diplomat also praised the role of Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi and IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, who facilitated the exchange of messages with the American side.
