Chinese Foreign Ministry Urges Its Citizens in Iran to Evacuate to Safe Areas
China has urged its citizens in Iran to take extra precautions for their personal safety and evacuate to safe areas as soon as possible, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.
"On February 28, the US and Israel launched a military operation against Iran. The Chinese Foreign Ministry, as well as the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Iran, remind Chinese citizens there of the need to closely monitor the situation, strengthen personal safety measures, and evacuate to safe areas as soon as possible by appropriate means," the statement read.
