Iran is demanding recognition of its right to a peaceful nuclear program as one of the conditions for peace, a diplomatic source said on Saturday.
"Among the conditions for ending the war is sustainable peace in our region, not a ceasefire, because we already have bitter experience. A certain mechanism for maintaining sustainable peace includes condemning aggressors, reparations, material damage, lifting all sanctions, and respecting Iran's rights to a peaceful atom," the source said.
On February 28, the United States and Israel launched strikes on targets in Iran, including in Tehran, causing damage and civilian casualties. Iran responded by striking Israeli territory and US military facilities in the Middle East.
