Iran has put forward reasonable initiatives and proposals during negotiations with the United States, and now everything depends on the US, which must take a realistic approach to resolving the issues, Iranian TV channel Press TV reported on Sunday, citing a source familiar with the matter.

Iran and the US had talks in Islamabad on Saturday after US President Donald Trump had announced an agreement with Tehran on a two-week ceasefire on Wednesday night.
On Sunday morning, the head of the American delegation, Vice President J.D. Vance, announced that Iran and the United States had failed to reach an agreement during lengthy negotiations and that the US delegation would return home without a deal.
