Iran to Restore Most of Oil Refining Capacity Within 8 Weeks: Deputy Minister

Iran will be able to restore 70-80% of the capacity of its damaged oil refining and distribution facilities within one ​to two months, Deputy Minister of Petroleum Mohammad Sadeq Azimifar said on Sunday.
"For most of the damaged refining and distribution infrastructure, we can restore 70-80% of the former capacity within one to two months, and then in the medium- to longer term, we can restore 100% of the capacity that existed before the aggression," Azimifar was quoted as saying by the Iranian news agency SNN.
On February 28, the United States and Israel began striking targets in Iran, including Tehran, causing damage and civilian casualties. Iran retaliated by striking Israeli territory, as well as US military targets in the Middle East. US President Donald Trump announced an agreement with Iran on a two-week ceasefire on Tuesday.
