Relations between Russia and Indonesia are rapidly developing, with trade growing by over 12%, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Monday.
"Russian-Indonesian relations are developing quite rapidly, with trade between the two countries growing by over 12%," Peskov told reporters.
Earlier, Indonesia explored broader energy-sector cooperation with Russia, including discussions on long-term crude supply and potential downstream investments. These talks formed part of Jakarta’s effort to diversify procurement channels and secure more predictable pricing amid global market fluctuations.
