Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei on Monday explained the killing of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' intelligence chief, Majid Khademi, by US and Israeli failures on the battlefield, arguing that his death would not undermine the Iranian armed forces."Killings and crimes cannot shake the ideals of selflessness," Khamenei said in a message on Khademi's death.Earlier in the day, the IRGC announced the death of Khademi in a US-Israeli attack.

Iran Wants to Hold US and Israel Accountable for Killing State Leadership
Iran wants to hold the United States and Israel accountable for the assassination of the Iranian leadership, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei told Sputnik.
"We have to do this. And I think not only Iran, but the entire international community is asking for accountability. Because what the United States and Israel have done is a crime against international peace and security. This is a war crime, a crime against humanity," Baghaei said.
