At least 400 people were killed and over 250 wounded on 16 March in a Pakistani air strike on a Kabul hospital where drug addicts were undergoing rehabilitation.During the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr, from 20-22 March, Afghanistan and Pakistan announced a temporary ceasefire, though Pakistan reportedly violated the truce several times.Previous rounds of talks between Kabul and Islamabad were held in Qatar, Turkiye, and Saudi Arabia, but yielded no results.
