Modi Condemns Fujairah Port Attack That Injured Three Indians as 'Unacceptable'

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned an attack on a port in the emirate of Fujairah, in the United Arab Emirates, in which three Indian nationals were injured.
"Strongly condemn the attacks on the UAE that resulted in injuries to three Indian nationals. Targeting civilians and infrastructure is unacceptable," he wrote on social media platform X.
Modi said India "stands in firm solidarity with the UAE" and reiterated its support for resolving all issues through dialogue and diplomacy.
Ensuring safe and unimpeded navigation through the Strait of Hormuz is vital for enduring regional peace, stability and global energy security," he added.
On Monday, the Indian embassy in the UAE said three Indian nationals had been injured in the Fujairah port attack. They were taken to hospital and are receiving treatment.
The press service of the government of the Emirate of Fujairah has reported a fire in one of the oil zones after a drone attack. A senior Iranian military source has told Iranian state television that Iran had no plans to attack the UAE.
