Revenue from arms exports totaled $15 billion in Russia in 2025, while the current order backlog for defense industry companies currently stands at nearly $75 billion, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said on Thursday.
"Despite the unconditional priority given to deliveries to the Russian Defense Ministry, revenue from military-technical cooperation was $15 billion in 2025, and the current order portfolio exceeds that figure by almost five times," Manturov said at the Congress of Russian Machine Builders held at the Russia National Center.
At the same time, the Russian defense industry increased production output by 21% in 2025, he added.
