"Our goal was to develop a 14-point memorandum of understanding, which would cover the most important issues necessary to end the war and those of fundamental importance to us. We are currently finalizing this memorandum of understanding," Baghaei was quoted as saying by Iran's Fars news agency.The key points of the memorandum relate to the issues of cessation of hostilities between Iran and the US, the lifting of the maritime blockade placed on Iran and the unfreezing of Iran's sovereign assets held in foreign banks, the spokesman added.

Iran, US at Final Stage of Work on Memorandum of Understanding: Foreign Ministry
Iran and Washington are at the final stage of work on a 14-point memorandum of understanding, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei said on Saturday.
"Our goal was to develop a 14-point memorandum of understanding, which would cover the most important issues necessary to end the war and those of fundamental importance to us. We are currently finalizing this memorandum of understanding," Baghaei was quoted as saying by Iran's Fars news agency.
The key points of the memorandum relate to the issues of cessation of hostilities between Iran and the US, the lifting of the maritime blockade placed on Iran and the unfreezing of Iran's sovereign assets held in foreign banks, the spokesman added.
