The exercise began on May 20 in Umroi and has brought together more than 400 military personnel from 12 partner nations alongside Indian forces. The goal is to strengthen regional security, peace and military cooperation through joint training and shared battlefield experience.Over the past three days, mixed international teams have carried out intense combat training in semi-mountainous and jungle terrain. The operations included rock craft, ambush and counter-ambush drills, helicopter slithering, jungle lane shooting exercises and hostage rescue simulations involving hijacked buses.To boost operational readiness and professional coordination between troops, organizers also held sniper and AK-203 rifle firing competitions during the exercise.The drills highlight India’s growing focus on joint military coordination and high-intensity warfare training with allied nations in challenging terrain.
