The tests were conducted in the presence of senior party and military officials, including Jang Chang Ha, head of the General Administration of Rocket Production, according to KCNA.The agency said the trials included a comprehensive evaluation of the combat capabilities of an upgraded 24-barrel 240-mm multiple launch rocket system as well as a special warhead designed for a tactical ballistic missile.In addition, the tests assessed the long-range precision strike capabilities of a 155-mm self-propelled howitzer.The latest weapons tests come as North Korea continues to modernize its military capabilities and develop advanced artillery and missile systems.
